Behind the Scenes
Rose & Willard designs, manufactures and distributes from a single location. This means we can help preserve the quality stamp of British craftsmanship as well as ensure high ethical fashion standards. It also enables us to be kind to the environment and keep our carbon footprint to a minimum.
The team works from a light and spacious London studio that still retains the features of its Victorian history and architecture. The building was once part of a thriving area for British manufacturing. It is now a modern office and studio hub that caters to creatives across a number of fields.
Our neighbours comprise a friendly community of photographers, artists and designers. We support and inspire each other.
Every day the team at Rose & Willard invests its skill set into creating office-appropriate workwear of singular quality. Throughout the process our discerning, achieving and career-minded customer is always at the forefront. Our aim is to deliver the professionalism, style and elegance that our customer would want to project.
We create and develop with care and consciousness. Every detail is considered, every measure is meticulously examined and this process is repeated until the fit and feel is as perfect as our customer would require. She expects nothing less and nor do we.
As well as the fit and cut we pay particular detail to the fabric, buttons, zips and any other details that feature in our office wear collections. We source our fabric from the finest mills in Italy. Our trims are Italian, German & British. We pay special attention to washable and crease-resistant options - to make our styles as easy care as possible.
We care about the inside of our garments as much as the outside. We incorporate luxury finishes as standard, such as internal binding, french seams, pin hems and hand sewing techniques.
Ultimately we want our customer to know and experience the true feeling of luxury when they wear one of our pieces - from the feel of the fabric, to the detail of its construction, to the integrity of its trim - and for this product to require as little aftercare as possible.
Helping us in our endeavours is one of our most important team members, Amanda. Amanda started her life as a stray living by a landfill. She was rescued after coming very close to being euthanised at a dog pound. We are very lucky to have found her. She is the sweetest, gentlest dog who enjoys nothing better than to enjoy being fussed by her colleagues and bask in the sun spots around the studio.
