Prince of Wales Check and Herringbone Power Suits and Office Dresses
Posted on September 28 2017
Office dressing is very much on-trend this AW17 season and driven, no doubt, by the strides professional women are making in the work place.
Trouser suits have made a notable comeback. In particular, this season's women's suits are all about Heritage - Prince of Wales checks as well as dogtooth / herringbone tweeds.
Ordinarily, Rose & Willard is not a brand to chase trends. We prefer to create enduring, timeless styles that working women will keep in their wardrobes for years rather than seasons. This is why feminine tailoring will always feature in our collections.
British-made Heritage suiting has become a standard part of our office wear collections.
Our Noble capsule collection features a suit jacket, matching suit trousers, an office dress with pockets and a pinafore - all in a beautifully soft Prince of Wales check and made in England at our London studios.
Our Fearless working wardrobe capsule includes a fitted suit jacket, cigarette suit trousers, wrap midi skirt and two office dresses - all in a distinctive, fine herringbone and, again, made by us at our London studios.
Everyone has their own personal preference for suits, dresses or separates for the office but there's no denying that a smart skirt suit or trouser suit has the effect of evoking a certain amount of confidence in the wearer. It's all about the cut and the fit. At Rose & Willard it's also all about the name. Each of our styles has been given a name that speaks of empowerment. As well as our Noble and Fearless capsules we also have our Worthy skirt suit and our Confident and Resolute suiting capsules. We want our customers to remember that what they are wearing also describes who they are.
