Continuing the Dialogue on Positive Portrayals of Women in AdvertisingThe reaction to our Confidence campaign was mixed. While we appreciate that it may have been perhaps too forward for some, reneging on our commitment to feature a more honest representation of women seems to us like taking a step backward. Thus, we decided to maintain diversity in our models but to present their body language in a more subtly positive way.
Redefining the Language Around Women, Strength and PowerRose & Willard means, literally, Feminine & Bold (in old English). Because these words are at the centre of who we are, we are always interested in the language used to describe women. We have decided to adopt only positive and empowering words into the language of our brand. We want to redefine what Feminine means and for it to identify with strength and dynamism; to enrich what it is to be Feminine. We start with the names for our styles.
Our Commitment to Minimal Packaging in a Bid to Support the EnvironmentWe all know that singular feeling of opening and unwrapping a beautifully-packaged parcel. But how much is simply thrown away? Being a company committed to keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible we opted for limited, reusable and/or recyclable packaging. Our beautiful, luxurious, professional officewear, which is made to last, remains of the highest quality. We thank our customers for supporting our initiatives to protect the environment.
